Overview

Important

Customers must update their ADDERLink INFINITY systems to avoid symptoms of an Address Assignment Timeout. The updates listed below have been released to provide an upgrade path to the latest firmware versions. Please note that older versions will only be supported until 31st December 2024.

All other versions of firmware published before 1st August 2024 are no longer supported from 3rd October 2024. It is recommended that you delete or archive older versions of firmware from your AIM to avoid using them in the future.

After upgrading the AIM Managers to a fixed version, the next step is to upgrade the endpoints. For the older products, there is only a single release of firmware available.

Step 4: Upgrading the Transmitters and Receivers

IMPORTANT: Please read the Release Notes and Upgrade Instructions thoroughly before performing the upgrade.

Endpoints: ALIF1002T/R, ALIF2000T/R, ALIF2002T, ALIF2020T/R, ALIF2112T

The latest firmware version for these models is v5.2.52850, a patched version of v5.1.52546 without the static IP address feature. All endpoints running v4.4 and above can directly upgrade to v5.2.

Any endpoints running v4.1, v4.2 or v4.3 must be upgraded to v4.4 before they can be upgraded to v5.2. Please contact support to request a copy of the v4.4.40349 firmware. This version is not patched and should only be used as a step-through to upgrade units running older firmware to the latest.

Endpoints: ALIF100T-DVI, ALIF100T-DP, ALIF100T-VGA

The latest firmware version is v4.11.1, a patched version of v4.9.05 and can be downloaded using the links below:-

The latest firmware version is v4.10.1, a patched version of v4.9.09 and can be downloaded using the links below:-

Endpoints ALIF1101T/R, ALIF1104T

The latest firmware version is v8.05, a patched version of v8.01 and can be downloaded using the link below:-

For the ALIF21xx models, we have several versions of firmware available. It is recommended that you upgrade to the latest version to benefit from the latest updates and features.

Endpoints ALIF3000R

For the ALIF3000R models, we have several versions of firmware available. It is recommended that you upgrade to the latest version to benefit from the latest updates and features.

Download ALIF3000R v1.3.1.7 - Requires AIM v5.5 or higher to upgrade.

Endpoints ALIF4021T/R, ALIF4001T/R

For the ALIF40xx models, we have several versions of firmware available. It is recommended that you upgrade to the latest version to benefit from the latest updates and features.
