This procedure covers Resetting/Rebooting a module of the XD612, XD614, XD641, and XD642.
To reset a module
- Use a thin implement, such as a straightened paperclip to press and release the button concealed behind the small hole. The PWR indicator will show red.
- After a few seconds, the indicator will change from red to green to show that the reset procedure is complete.
- The unit will reboot.
Note
XD614 and XD642 have two video modes. The "Reset" button does not change their video modes, and it just reboots the unit.
