The following procedure will take you through the process of upgrading the firmware on the IPEPS+.
Procedure
- Login to the IPEPS+ using the RealVNC Viewer as the admin user.
- Click on the Configure button at the top right-hand corner.
- Choose Unit Configuration.
- Choose Advanced Unit Configuration.
- Choose Upgrade Firmware.
- You will see the current firmware version installed on the IPEPS+.
- Choose Upgrade Firmware.
- A dialog window will appear, instructing you to open a web browser to continue the upgrade. The IP address of the IPEPS+ is shown.
- Make sure that you have downloaded the latest firmware from our website and unzip the package.
- Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the IPEPS+.
- Click on Choose file and select the upgrade file. It usually has the format of IPEPSPLUS_Vx.xx.bin, where x.xx is the version number.
- The firmware file name should now be shown.
- Click on Perform upgrade to continue.
- The IPEPS+ after a few moments will automatically reboot itself.
- Once the upgrade has completed, click on the Return to normal operation button.
- The web interface will return to its normal page below.
