What is the default IP address?
The default IP address out of the box or if factory reset is 192.168.1.42.
What is the maximum video resolution?
The maximum resolution is 1600x1200, 1920x1080 is not support. The support resolutions are:
- 800 x 600 @ 60hz
- 1024 x 768 @ 60hz
- 1280 x 1024 @ 60hz
- 1600 x 1200 @ 60hz
ALD-IPEPS
What is the function of the dip switches on ALD-IPEPS?
Dip switch 1 on ALD-IPEPS can be used to determine the power source. With Dip switch 1 in the OFF position, ALD-IPEPS will derive power from either the USB connections or the supplied power adapter. With Dip switch 1 in the ON position, ALD-IPEPS will derive power ONLY from the supplied power adapter. This can lead to the IPEPS appearing to stop functioning in the event of a power supply fauilure. To test this, remove the power adapter and move Dip switch 1 to the OFF position.If your product now works, contact your Adder supplier to request a replacement Power adapter. Further details are available on page 9 of the User Guide.
Dip switch 2 on the ALD-IPEPS can be used to reset the device to its factory default state follow the below instructions or refer to page 23 of the User Guide.
1 Disconnect the power, USB and video cables from the Digital iPEPS unit. Leave the network cable plugged in and use it to link the Digital iPEPS unit to a network.
2 Set Configuration Switch 2 to the ON (up) position.
3 Apply power to the unit (either from the power supply or via both USB cables).
4 Leave Switch 2 in the ON (up) position until the orange indicator illuminates, at which point, immediately set Switch 2 to the OFF (down) position.
If the factory reset is successful, the orange indicator will flash off once after fifteen seconds. After the factory reset is complete, the unit will reboot and you can connect a VNC viewer to it using the default IP address: 192.168.1.42 to check that the configuration has been reset. Note: If the factory reset is unsuccessful, power down the Digital iPEPS unit and try again.
