If you are locked out of your IPEPS the easiest method to regain access is to power cycle the unit.
To prevent brute force attacks on the VNC server hosted on the IPEPS there is a blacklist feature which will block an IP address that repeatedly fails to login. There is a three failed attempt grace but on the fourth failed attempt the IP address will be added to the blacklist for 30 seconds, if there is another failed attempt to login during this time the time will be doubled to 1 minute etc. up to 30 years.
The only way the blacklist can be cleared is with a successful login after the time has been served or if the unit is power cycled.
