CATX: CATX1000 and CATX5000 Cascadablity

Overview

The CATX1000 and CATX5000 series are compatible systems. The switches have a cascade feature that allows the master unit to maintain a single OSD detailing a list of computers at the level of the master and slave positions for easy selection.

 Note

The CATX4000 series (AVX4016, AVX4024, AVX4016IP, AVX4024IP) are not compatible with the cascade function on the CATX1000 or CATX5000 series switches.
