ALIF: Address Assignment Timeout - v4.x (2)

Overview

 Important

Customers must update their ADDERLink INFINITY systems to avoid symptoms of an Address Assignment Timeout. The updates listed below have been released to provide an upgrade path to the latest firmware versions. Please note that older versions will only be supported until 31st December 2024.

All other versions of firmware published before 1st August 2024 are no longer supported from 3rd October 2024. It is recommended that you delete or archive older versions of firmware from your AIM to avoid using them in the future.

This procedure is for an AIM whose factory firmware version is below v4.1.36651.

Step 3: Upgrading the AIM Manager

IMPORTANT: Please read the Release Notes and Upgrade Instructions thoroughly before performing the upgrade.
Upgrading the AIM to v4.15 will fix the problem and give you a platform where you can temporarily stop, before proceeding to the latest v5x firmware.

Make sure you have upgraded the Primary and Backup/Satellite AIM Managers.

Support

The AIM v4.15.20002 firmware will be supported until 31st December 2024. See the Firmware Version page for more information.

The next step is to upgrade the Transmitters and Receivers.

Step 4 - Upgrade the Endpoints
