In the event that your Primary AIM Manager has failed and your Backup AIM is now an Acting Primary, the procedure below steps you through promoting it to a Primary.
Procedure
- Open the Backup AIM's web interface.
- Click on configure this server.
- Change the Role from Backup to Primary.
- Press Save to commit the change.
